“Great rooms, and incredible views”
This is a small boutique hotel that is built into the volcanic cliffs of the caldera. It has a small beautiful infinity pool with bar and food service. Our welcoming was perfect, as we were served sparkling wine and snacks. Our rooms were perfect, each had a built-in Jacuzzi bath, made from tile with a view of the ocean. I had one of my best dishes here, the Tuna Carpaccio, the perfect appetizer. The staff is quite helpful, and knowledgeable. Of note, you are on the west side of the island about 1 hour away from Oia, and Fira, so there is slim pickings for restaurants within walking distance. Also, be aware there are a lot of steps down to the hotel, which was somewhat of an issue for a friend who recently had hip replacement.

“As good as ever”
Stayed at the Aqua Blu for ten nights in July. Previously holidayed here two years ago but we were greeted like friends by the lady who was on reception (sorry, did not get her name). We were shown to our room which was an upgrade on what we booked-there was a shared pool area outside of our rear door! Staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The pool area is amazingly quiet and relaxing and we often had the whole area to ourselves some mornings. Breakfast is excellent and the food from the bar near to the pool is of high quality. Didn’t eat in the restaurant at night as we prefer to walk in to Kos Town but I would the food and service is of equally high quality. All in all, a hotel which will be hard to beat!
